For Sellers
So you’re selling your property! What do you need to do?
In North Carolina, Sellers are required to provide the Deed Package, commonly called “Seller Docs” at closing. This includes the Deed, Lien Waiver, Tax Proration agreement, 1099, FIRPTA, and a proceeds directive. You will also need to sign those documents in front of a Notary Public.
LegalFrog Law is happy to prepare those documents for you, our fee to do so is $275. Alternately, you may hire your own attorney to prepare the Seller Docs and have them delivered to our office at least ONE business day prior to closing.
*Please be aware that Seller Docs Services are document preparation services only. No legal opinion is given regarding the property, and no attorney-client relationship is created.*
If you are unsure which option to choose, please check with your agent, or give us a call at (336) 701-5025.
